Reid Davis, Chief Investment Officer
Reid received his Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Mississippi, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During his tenure at the University of Mississippi, Reid was a member of the Ole Miss golf team, served as Student Body President of the School of Business Administration and was selected as a Northrop Grumman Scholar for distinction in the area of Finance. Reid received his Master of Business Administration at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA, where he concentrated on Financial Markets.
Prior to joining Pinnacle Trust, Reid spent four years as a member of a regional advisory group focusing on bank mergers and acquisitions. Reid has also served as an Equity Research Associate for a regional brokerage firm covering the Specialty Finance Sector.
Reid has been a featured columnist for the Financial Managers Society (FMS) and Western Independent Bankers (WIB) CFO & Finance Digest. He also serves as Chairman of the Pinnacle Trust Investment Committee.
Patrick M. Kingsmill, Sr. Vice President, Director of Fiduciary Services & Trust Counsel
Pat joined Pinnacle Trust in June of 2017. His primary role is to oversee the process by which Pinnacle serves in its fiduciary capacities such as trustee or executor.
During the course of his twenty-five year career, Pat has held senior management and Trust leadership roles in both local and regional financial institutions. He is experienced in the laws of trusts and estates, trust administration, probate administration and portfolio management.
Pat is a native of New Orleans and holds a B.A. in English from Tulane University and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association as well as an active participant in various professional and philanthropic organizations.
David Russell, CFP; Sr. Vice President of Wealth Management
David Russell is Senior Vice President of Wealth Management with Pinnacle Trust, having been with the company since 2000. David graduated from Mississippi State University in 1982 with a degree in Banking and Finance. He soon took an interest in the emerging profession of financial planning and enrolled in the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. Shortly thereafter in 1987, he received his Certified Financial Planner designation.
Throughout his thirty plus year career, David has counseled over 300 families, businesses, and individuals on how to achieve their financial and life goals. He is a frequent speaker and is well regarded for his ability to communicate complex issues into understandable language.
In 2012, David authored his first book titled What You Need to Know: The Adult Child's Guide to Being a Financial Caregiver. The book is aimed at the growing numbers of people in the "sandwich generation" who are providing emotional, physical, or financial support to aging parents, while balancing the demands of their own career and family.
Randy received his B.B.A. in Banking and Finance from the University of Mississippi in 1984 and has over 30 years of experience in trust, estate planning, insurance and investments. Randy is a graduate of the Southern Trust School in Birmingham, Alabama, CFP Professional Educational Program from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado, and ABA Graduate Trust School.
In 2010, Randy was invited to serve on the Trust Laws Study Group, a committee formed by Mississippi Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann, Jr., to study trust reform.
Randy is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association of Mississippi and Estate Planning Council of Mississippi. Prior to coming to Pinnacle Trust in 2002, Randy was a trust officer and registered representative with a regional financial institution.
Hale Dees, Financial Advisor
Hale Dees serves as a Financial Advisor. Hale earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from The University of Southern Mississippi. He is licensed in Mississippi and Alabama.
Hale has been helping families and businesses along the Mississippi Gulf Coast achieve their financial goals since 1997. Prior to joining Pinnacle Trust, Hale founded his own wealth management company and also served clients while working for other coastal financial institutions.
Cris Dockery, Corporate Retirement Plan Consultant
Cris M. Dockery serves as a Financial Advisor. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Mississippi State University. In 2010, Cris focuses on working with mid- to high net worth wealth management for private clients. He also specializes in retirement planning, including individual company qualified 401(k) corporate benefit plans, as well as Multiple Employer 401(k) Plans with Associations. Using his experience as a business owner for 18 years, Cris works with business owners in 401(k) strategy, design, administration, policy and selecting carriers that are the best fit for the company and its employees
Prior to his entry into the financial services industry, Cris was Vice President of a family-owned service business located in Jackson, Mississippi. He has over 18 years of experience in the full range of business owner duties as well as executive services. During his time as a business owner, one of his duties was administering the employee benefit programs, as well as working with carriers in selecting the best fit for not only the company, but also its employees.
Lance Heisler, Corporate Retirement Plan Consultant
Lance Heisler serves as a Retirement Plan Consultant. Lance works with business owners with retirement plan design, administration, policy, and selecting carriers who are the best fit for the company to help attract and retain employees. These may include company qualified 401(k) corporate benefit plans and Multiple Employer 401(k) plans affiliated with various associations. He also focuses on working with mid- to high net worth private clients in developing a retirement strategy.
Lance holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of South Alabama along with his insurance license. During his time at South Alabama, he was a member of the Jaguars baseball team. Prior to joining Pinnacle Trust, Lance was an Assistant Vice President and Business Development Officer of a regional financial institution located in Mobile, Alabama. He has over eight years of experience in the retirement plan industry.
Alan McAfee, Financial Advisor
Alan McAfee is a 2001 graduate of Delta State University where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with emphasis in Risk Management. During his time there, Alan was a member of the golf team and was inducted into the Delta State Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014. He also holds a Life and Health Insurance license in Mississippi and Tennessee.
Prior to joining Pinnacle Trust, Alan served three years as aFinancial Advisor for Mid-South Financial Group in Memphis, TN as well as an Education Specialist for Aegis Retirement Group where he focused on 401(k) plan management and educational seminars for employees. Alan specializes in relationship management and workingwith individual clients and business owners to create custom financial strategies to fit client needs.
Gerry Mitchell, CFP®, Financial Advisor
Gerry Mitchell earned his Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama. He holds a Life, Health & Accident Insurance Combined license in Mississippi and Alabama.
Gerry has been helping families and businesses achieve their financial goals since 2004. he earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2008. Prior to joining Pinnacle Trust, Gerry worked with two national brokerage firms.
Martin Palomo, IV, Financial Advisor
Martin received his Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Else School of Management at Millsaps College. He is also a graduate of the College of Financial Planning, where he earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) designation. Prior to joining Pinnacle Trust, Martin was a hedge fund analyst in Washington, D.C., advising on approximately $2 billion for institutional clients. He has also served as the portfolio manager for a $12 billion portfolio at a state pension fund.
He is currently a candidate for the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.
Martin serves on the Executive Board for the Brandon Futbol Club, where he coaches competitive and recreational youth soccer teams.
David Waddle, Financial Advisor
David "Dave" Waddle brings to Pinnacle Trust 34 years of experience in managing private client assets. Early in his career he gained national exposure on Lou Dobbs' "Moneyline" during the October 1987 stock market crash. In 1988 he moved his practice and family to Destin, Florida where he worked for a national brokerage firm for nearly 20 years. David was the senior founding member of Emerald Coast Wealth Advisors in January 2009.
For the past 26 years Dave has been a singer and guitar player in his church choir. He volunteers for charitable work as a member of the Knights of Columbus.
